This is a vintage pair of Japanese wooden dolls known as kokeshi. This pair of kokeshi are of the bobble head variety and are dressed in subtly patterned kimono with red and black jackets.

Having been in storage for several decades, it remains in overall fine vintage condition and has a beautiful warm patina that shows the decades. There are some scuffs and dents. These kokeshi measure about 3.5” tall and 2” at the widest point.
